Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can be converted from a single to a double stroller with the addition of a second seat or glider board (sold separately). It can also be set up into a triple travel system by adding the bench seat or an infant car seat. It has 24 configurations and is a top-ranked stroller overall. This model is constructed with Baby Jogger’s soft, breathable and sustainably sourced TENCEL fabrics. They aid in regulating temperature. It features an elegant leatherette handlebar and bumper bar, as well as the belly bar. It folds 20% smaller than the leading single-to-double stroller, the UPPAbaby Vista V2, and is lighter, too.
It comes with a sunshade of medium size and a handy magnetic peek-aboo window that is easy to open and close. The telescoping handlebar is among of the most simple to adjust and is suitable for parents of all heights. The seats recline, and they have a footwell adjustment button so you can position your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin has plenty of room, but we would have preferred an easier latch. The bin is easy to open, however the zippers can be difficult to use because they must be removed and secured again after every use.
The City Select, like its counterparts, has single-action brakes that are easy to install and release by pulling a lever located on the frame side, lower than the handlebar. It's sandal and barefoot-friendly and is a step up from the clunky toe-pinch brake levers that many of the competitors use.
This is the only stroller in our review that is able to accept two infant car seats, making it a great option for twins or for parents with a single child and a baby on the way. It can be used with all major brands infant car seats by using an adapter. We tested it using Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models Cybex Aton and Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It's a good option for families that already have an infant car seat and are looking for a stroller that can accommodate it, but you may prefer a convertible stroller that can fit an additional infant car seat in this case.
